This April, O'Fallon's voters will be asked to decide on an important ballot issue that will help shape the future of the Fort Zumwalt School District, Proposition K. If approved by the voters, this Proposition will authorize a tax levy of the District by $0.48 per one hundred dollars of assessed valuation for the purposes of paying costs of educational programs, technology upgrades and other operating expenses of the District.

Following a discussion on Proposition K at the March 15, 2016 O’Fallon Chamber of Commerce & Industries board meeting, the O’Fallon Chamber Board of Directors voted to endorse Proposition K. The O’Fallon Chamber encourages its members and the community to vote “Yes” in the April 5, 2016 election to support Prop K.

“The O’Fallon Chamber recognizes that our education system is key to our workforce development and community strength. Fort Zumwalt School District has been a great steward of their resources and we support the work they have done and their plans to continue to improve the quality of education our students receive,” said Erin Williams, President/CEO of the O’Fallon Chamber of Commerce & Industries.

The O’Fallon Chamber of Commerce & Industries is encouraging its members and school district residents to Vote Yes for Propositions K in the April 5th election.
