​The O’Fallon Chamber of Commerce is proud to host the 31st Annual USATF Certified Firecracker Run on Saturday, July 4, 2015, in O’Fallon, MO. The Firecracker Run offers something for everyone so bring everyone and start your 4th of July off with a bang!

We recommend giving yourself plenty of time to get to the ballpark the morning of the race.

T.R. Hughes Blvd is closed at the intersection of Cool Springs to Tom Ginnever. You can turn right at Cool Springs, left at the stop sign and that will take you to Tom Ginnever where the ballpark will be located on your left.

Tom Ginnever will be closed to traffic at 9:00 am for the City's Heritage & Freedom Fest parade. Because of this a lot of people get stuck in the T.R. Hughes ballpark parking lot. We're trying to avoid this by using these other parking lots.

The City of O'Fallon's 2015 Heritage & Freedom Fest Parade will start at 9:30 a.m. so be sure to bring the family and stick around after the race.

You can also pickup packets on the day of the race from 6:00-6:45 a.m. at the Rascals Ballpark.

If you did not register before June 1st then it will be first come, first served for the t-shirt sizes so we recommend coming to packet pick-up early to get your preferred t-shirt size.
The 5K/10K race routes are USTAF certified.
There will be water, food and restrooms available at Start/Finish.  There are 2 water station along the 5K route and 3 along the 10K route.  Every mile will be clearly marked on a stand-up sign along the route.  First aid is available at the Start/Finish.

Pets & Strollers
Strollers are allowed in all of the races. Children who are in a stroller do not have to register for the race; they will not receive a shirt or bib. We do ask that stroller please be respectful of the other runners and stay to the back of the run. New for 2015 we now have a stroller category!

Due to the safety of our runners and the animals, pets will not be allowed to participate in the Firecracker Run.
We are asked all the time if walkers are welcome and we happily say yes!

Race will happen rain or shine. Race officials may cancel, delay or change the event in case of extreme weather or other conditions that may affect the safety and health of the participants. In the event of cancellation, refunds will not be issued.
5K & 10K Run:
$25 (March 1 to May 31)
$30 (June 1 to July 3)
$35 (Race Day Registration)

1M Fun Run:
$15 (March 1 to May 31)
$20 (June 1 to July 3)
$25 (Race Day Registration)
The 1 Mile Fun Run is not a timed race but runners will get bibs. The O'Fallon Chamber is not responsible for unsupervised children who participate in the Fun Run. Parents may run in the Fun Run with their children as long as they are signed up for at least one of the races (10K, 5K, 1M).
T-Shirts are guaranteed to the first 2,000 runners. Size is only guaranteed to runners registered by May 31st, after that shirts are available on a first come, first serve basis (i.e. shirt sizes are not guaranteed after May 31st).

Also includes entrance into the Runners Only Area which will be full of  food, drinks and beer and tons of freebies in the Health Expo.
This opportunity will be provided complimentary through Frontier Health Center to both encourage participation in the upcoming event as well as promote health and wellness for our thriving community.
Objective: To provided a comfortable and encouraging atmosphere for both new and experienced runners to train for the O’Fallon Fire Cracker Run.
What’s Included?
Each participant who signs up will receive the following:
Complimentary pre-participation physical evaluation. Customized training program for distance and pacing goal based off of current skill level.Sample training dietA spot in a weekly “judgment free zone” long distance group run lead by Dr. Rackovan held on Saturdays.Weekly performance feedback via email with Dr. Rackovan. 
Cost: Just your dedication in training. Other than that, FREE.
Location: Physicals will be done at Frontier Integrated Health Center by appointment. Weekly runs will be held on Saturdays starting at 1 PM.
Start Date: Training start dates will vary amongst participant enrollment.
Whether you want to start training now or a month before the race, it is never too early or too late to get involved in your training.

Volunteer Registration
All volunteers receive a shirt and a free breakfast the morning of the race provided by McDonald's. You must register online to guarantee a shirt and size of choice by June 13, 2015.

There will also be a volunteer party to go over details with food and drink provided the day before the event.

Top overall male and female racers of the 5K & 10K. Awards also given to 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place finishers (male and female) of each class in the 5K & 10K. Ribbons will be given to all participants of the 1 Mile Fun Run.

60-69, 70+, and a Stroller category will be added to this years race.

Health Expo, vendors, attendance prizes will follow the event.
