We recommend giving yourself plenty of time to get to the ballpark the morning of the race.
T.R. Hughes Blvd is closed at the intersection of Cool Springs to Tom Ginnever. You can turn right at Cool Springs, left at the stop sign and that will take you to Tom Ginnever where the ballpark will be located on your left.
Race will happen rain or shine. Race officials may cancel, delay, or change the event in case of extreme weather or other conditions that may affect the safety and health of the participants. In the event of cancellation, refunds will not be issued.

The 1 Mile Fun Run is not a timed race but runners will get bibs. The O'Fallon Chamber is not responsible for unsupervised children who participate in the Fun Run. Parents may run in the Fun Run with their children as long as they are signed up for at least one of the races (10K, 5K, 1M).
Children who are in strollers do not need to be registered but will not receive a shirt or packet.

There is NO SHUTTLE from the parking lots to the race start. It's a short walk but give yourself some extra time.
Tom Ginnever will be closed to traffic at 8:30 am for the City's Heritage & Freedom Fest parade. Because of this a lot of people get stuck in the T.R. Hughes ballpark parking lot. We're trying to avoid this by using these other parking lots. If you plan on staying for the parade you may park in the TR Hughes parking lot.

You can also pickup packets on the day of the race from 6:00-6:45 a.m. at the Rascals Ballpark, Car Shield Field.
If you did not register before June 1st then it will be first come, first served for the t-shirt sizes so we recommend coming to packet pick-up early to get your preferred t-shirt size.
5K Race Route
10K Race Route
The 5K/10K race routes are USTAF certified.
There will be water, food and restrooms available at Start/Finish. There are 2 water station along the 5K route and 3 along the 10K route. Every mile will be clearly marked on a stand-up sign along the route. First aid is available at the Start/Finish.
Top overall male and female racers of the 5K & 10K. Awards also given to 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place finishers (male and female) of each age class in the 5K & 10K, and to the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place finishers in the 5K Stroller & 10K Stroller categories.
Ribbons will be given to all participants of the 1M Fun Run.
Age Classes are:
5-9, 10-14, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70+
T-Shirts are guaranteed to the first 2,000 runners. Size is only guaranteed to runners registered by May 31st, after that shirts are available on a first come, first serve basis (i.e. shirt sizes are not guaranteed after May 31st).
Also includes entrance into the Runners Only Area which will be full of food, drinks and beer and tons of freebies in the Health Expo.
In order to keep everything organized and everyone safe we rely heavily on volunteer support.
All volunteers receive a volunteer shirt, goodie bag, and breakfast the morning of the race. You must register online to guarantee a shirt and size of choice by June 5, 2017. There will also be a volunteer party to go over responsibilities a couple days before the race.

Can I use my baby stroller?
Strollers are allowed in all of the races. Children who are in a stroller do not have to register for the race; they will not receive a shirt or bib. We do ask that stroller please be respectful of the other runners and stay to the back of the run.
Can I bring my pet?
Due to the safety of our runners and the animals, pets will not be allowed to participate in the Firecracker Run.
Can I walk the run?
We are asked all the time if walkers are welcome and we happily say yes! The streets will only be blocked for 2 hours so keep that in mind too.
Can my friend pick up my packet?
Yes, just make sure they have your name and that you get your packet. If they lose it you will have to re-register and possibly get a new friend.
Do I get a finisher medal?
We do not offer finisher medals at this time. This is a fundraiser event and we watch our expenses very carefully. You do get a whole lot of other swag donated by our sponsors.
Do you have finisher photos?
Yes, smile as you cross that finish line! Be sure to wear your bib number in front so we can identify you. Just log in to view your photos.
What can I do to make the race directors happy?
So glad you asked! Pray for nice weather. Thank our sponsors from the bottom of your heart. Thank our great volunteers too. And remember, no whining. It's going to be a great race.
